The SEI Senior All-Star Game is tonight! The action tips off at 5:15 with the girls game with the boys game to follow. There will be 3 point contests for both the boys and girls as well as a slam dunk contest for the boys. Come see the best of the best that Southeast Iowa has to offer. The games will be held at Notre Dame High School tonight. Wapello will be represented by Brekyn Mears, Emma Reid, and Keaton Mitchell.

Our Elementary Student Council came up with an End of The Day PBIS Activity for the students in the Elementary Building. They planned a Minute to Win It Game where students were chosen to see if they could keep a balloon from hitting the ground. Great Job Elementary Student Council!

A couple of take aways from last night’s Board of Directors meeting. Director of Instruction, Jaci Thornburg updated the board on recent screening data and also the upcoming Iowa Standardized Tests.
Also at last night’s meeting, Katie Hammond with Wapello Visioning spoke to the board about their goals and plans for the city. The first project they would like to accomplish would be to upgrade the sidewalks between and around the district attendance centers and athletic complex.
