Alexis Brown, William Parsons, and Callie Wagenbach have all received the School Recognition Award and the Rural and Small Town Recognition Award! This is a huge honor given to students across the nation!
To be eligible for these awards, students had to qualify by scoring in the top 10% of PSAT/NMSQT test takers in their high school, and the state's rural and small town test takers. Students also had to earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3.
Congratulations, Alexis, Will, and Callie!

Wapello High School is partnering with the Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau to bring the program “Choices Matter” to our school on Wednesday, September 17th. Our presenter, Steve Emt, aims to instill belief and motivation, encouraging individuals to embrace their inner strength and take charge of their own narratives.
Did you know:
Think it’s safe to text or talk on your cell phone while you drive? No way... No how… Not ever. Nationwide, over 3,000 people die from crashes involving a distracted driver each year. Be safe while driving. Remember, Choices Matter.
