Some of our Tomahawk Wrestling Club Members want to wish our WHS Wrestling Team the best of luck at the State Wrestling Tournament. A few of the Tomahawk Wrestlers selected a WHS Wrestler and gave a quick quote as to why they look up to them.
Kason Dopler selected Christopher Ewart - "I see him work hard in the wrestling room. He inspires me to work harder!
Roman Hamilton selected Colton Meeker - “He is my favorite wrestler. He always picks me up and slams me down!”
Cohen Wolford selected Mitchell Moore - “I like Mitchell because he is a great wrestler.”
Max Dopler Selected Daniel Meeker - “He is a great wrestler, he has so many pins. I want to be like him.”
Dayne Hogue also selected Daniel Meeker - “He works hard in the wrestling room everyday. That’s why he is so good!”
Tasker Timmerman Selected Mitchell Moore - “ I want to be like him when I grow up and go to the state tournament.”

Wednesday, February 13 and Thursday, February 14 will both be full days of school for students.
Parent/Teacher conferences that were going to be held on February 14 will now be held February 21. If we win our game tomorrow night, then we play the next round on Thursday night. Waiting until tomorrow night to change conferences would be very short notice for our families.
Due to the weather and road conditions left behind by last night's storm, tonight's Class 2A District 7 Games are being rescheduled to Wednesday night (2/13). This includes L-M, Wilton, Columbus and Wapello. Game times remain the same.

Tonight’s JH Boys basketball vs. WMU is postponed to Friday, February 15.
ATTENTION: Tonight’s District 7 basketball games for Boys Basketball are being postponed until tomorrow February 12th. Same times, and $6.00 admission.
The Indians start the Post Season Tournament play tonight as they take on the Wildcats of Columbus tonight in the 2nd game of a Tournament Doubleheader. Louisa-Muscatine will take on Wilton in the first game, with Wapello and Columbus taking the floor at approximately 8:00 this evening. Admission is $6 for students and adults. Come cheer on the Indians as they start post season play tonight!
