Reminder: All junior high and high school students in grades 6-11, will begin the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) tomorrow. Students at the secondary will be testing April 9th-12th. Elementary students will test April 12th-16th. Please make sure your student has a charged Chromebook each morning this week. Please be reminded, due to new state mandates, your child may not have a cellular device or electronic smart watch during testing. Also, it is very important that all students are present at school during testing dates! #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

The Wapello Arrows Track and Field Team will be back in action tonight at the Lone Tree Invitational at Lone Tree High School. The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m. and it should be a beautiful night to watch Track and Field. Best of luck Arrows! #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

The Wapello Indians Soccer Team will open up their home season this evening against Danville/New London. The game will start at 5:00 p.m. at the Carl "Mac" McGill Athletic Complex. A great night of weather is in store to watch the Indians! #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

Students visited T & D Repair In Burlington which specializes in diesel mechanics and welding. Students learned of summer internships within the company.

Ms. Daisy’s and Mrs. Smith’s 5th Grade classes got to enjoy an extra recess this morning for increasing their math scores on MAPs!!! Students who also met their goal they set, received a treat as well! Great job!!!
