JH Girls Basketball faced off with the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves last night at Winfield. The 8th graders suffered a tough loss with a score of 48-9. The 7th graders pulled out a win 31-29 in overtime. Some pictures from the 8th grade game courtesy of Yolanda Reid. #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

Tonight's Junior High Wrestling meet has been postponed. We are working to reschedule this meet, when a date is selected we will announce the make up date on our website and social media outlets.

Elementary parents that had students that sold the Great American Fundraiser items, they will be delivered on Thursday, November 8, from 3:45-6:00. Please make arrangements to pick up that evening. #wearewapello #wapellotribepride

Wapello Youth Boys Basketball signup for boys in grades 3, 4, 5, & 6 will be held on Saturday morning, November 10 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the HS Gym. The cost will be $25 per individual and checks should be made out to Wapello Youth Basketball. The first practice will be Sat., November 17 at 4:00 p.m. and will be followed by the Wapello HS Boys Intrasquad Game. If you have questions or can't make it to the sign up, you can call Coach Spielbauer at 319-631-8783 or Coach Griffin at 319-759-4372. Thanks for your interest in Wapello Basketball.

The drama department will perform their annual fall play this weekend (Nov. 9, 10, 11), with “We Will Remember: A Tribute to Veterans”. Fri & Sat. performances are at 7:00, Sun. at 2:00 (Veterans free). Honor our veterans this holiday with this rousing tribute! #wearewapello

Youth Wrestling Parents! The Tomahawk Wrestling Club will meet this evening, Monday, November 5 in the High School Cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. Registration with a short practice to follow. Team/Individual Pictures (Order Forms will be available at signup) Singlets will be given out tonight, so please bring a check for your deposit!
