Collins Aerospace issued a challenge to students to make a difference in someone's life. The challenge was accepted by this group of 8th grade girls, they developed a new prosthetic hand that could someday be used. Way to go girls!

Wapello Youth Soccer will be accepting Sign Up forms at Parent/Teacher Conferences tonight from 5-8. If you want to sign up your student for youth soccer, there will be someone outside the office at the Elementary and forms can be given to Mrs. Brown at the JH/HS.
The Wapello CSD will be doing an "all call" this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. as a reminder for parent/teacher conferences. March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’ birthday—Did you know Dr. Seuss would be 115 this year? While he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the pages of his books. He forever changed the way children’s books were written and continues to inspire generations. The visitation for Lucas Baker will be Saturday, February 23, 2019, from noon to 2:00 PM at the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Wapello, with a funeral ceremony to follow.
