A couple of take aways from last night’s Board of Directors meeting. Director of Instruction, Jaci Thornburg updated the board on recent screening data and also the upcoming Iowa Standardized Tests.
Also at last night’s meeting, Katie Hammond with Wapello Visioning spoke to the board about their goals and plans for the city. The first project they would like to accomplish would be to upgrade the sidewalks between and around the district attendance centers and athletic complex.

Rehearsal for tonight's SEISC Select Band Concert is underway! Our students that were selected along with Mr. Peck are in Danville rehearsing the pieces that will be presented during tonight's concert. Concert time is 6:30 at Danville High School, Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students, if you are looking for something to do tonight, come out and listen to the best of the best musicians in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference, we hope to see you tonight!

Postseason Honors continue to be announced WHS Basketball Player, Keaton Mitchell! Keaton was named to the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association 2nd Team All-State Basketball Team. Keaton was also selected to play in the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All Star Game that will be played at Dallas-Center Grimes High School On March 23. Coach Speilbauer has been selected as one of the Coaches for the SE Iowa Boys Team. Congratulations to Keaton Mitchell on these post season honors as well as Coach Spielbauer for being named as a Coach for the All Star Game. #wearewapello #wapellotribepride
