The Indians will square off with the visiting Columbus Wildcats tonight in Football action. This is the last home game and the last game of the 2019 season! Come out and support the Indians as they look to finish the season with a winning record. Tonight is also senior night, all of our seniors in Football, Cheerleading, Marching Band, and Cross Country will be recognized. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. tonight at the Carl "Mac" McGill Athletic Complex.

Wapello students had the opportunity to visit Job Corps in Ottumwa today and learned of possible post secondary jobs in construction, industrial maintenance, CNA, and Fiber Optics. Jobs Corps provides students tuition and housing along with job opportunities with no student loan debt

Several WCSD staff members wrapped up three days of learning about Professional Learning Communities in Des Moines this afternoon. They had the opportunity to listen to some of the nation’s top speakers in the field of education! CONGRATULATIONS to the Wapello Marching band!! Their performance at the state marching band festival has earned them an invitation to perform at the IHSAA State Football playoffs on Thursday, Nov. 21st. They will perform the National Anthem before the 8-player & Class A Championship games, as well as during those two games’ halftime. These games are played at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, IA!
