More Hometown Day pictures. This group picked up sticks, branches and garbage at the Wapello Cemetery. A student even found a "treasure", a rusty old blender, that she decided to keep!

A friend on FB shared about her experience with hometown days. Look at the amazing job these kids did and here is part of the post that was made about them. “So this morning a large group of kids and teachers came from the school to help lay paper, spread mulch and clip grapevine from my fences. They did what would have been an entire summer of work for us, in an HOUR! We couldn’t be more thankful, they truly saved us a lot of time and stress! They always say #WeAreWapello and sure enough today they proved it!”
