The Wapello Junior High Arrows Volleyball team returns to action this afternoon as they take on the Columbus JH Wildcats. The action starts at 4:30 pm this afternoon at Wapello High School! Best of luck to our JH Arrows and Coaches!

The Wapello JH and HS Cross Country Teams will compete in their last regular season meet this afternoon at the Mediapolis Invitational. The meet will be held at Big Hollow Recreation Area in rural Sperry. First Race is at 4:30 p.m. Best of luck to our runners!

The HS marching band will be putting on a performance for the elementary students on FRIDAY at 2:30.
This was originally planned for Thursday morning but due to cool temperatures, we are having this performance FRIDAY, at 2:30. Sorry for any miscommunication.

The Wapello Arrows will take on the Pekin Panthers tonight in Volleyball action for Staff Appreciation Night at the WHS Gym. The action starts tonight at 5:30 p.m. Come out and support the Arrows as the season winds down.

We just received word from Van Buren that they have had to cancel tonight’s JV Football game due to injuries on their team. No JV Football tonight at Van Buren. Please share to help spread the information.

Our apologies to the FFA Students that we incorrectly announced their final placings at the State Soils Contest. Lydia Fisher received 6th place individual and Christopher Ewart received 9th place individual. We regret the error in our earlier post. Congratulations to all of the State Champion Soils Team for a big win this past weekend!

The Award Winning Wapello FFA has done it again! They have captured another State Soils Championship over the weekend. Pictured are the team members: Reserve Champion Individual Emma Schoonover, 6th Place Individual, Christopher Ewart, 9th Place Individual, Lydia Fisher, and 11th Place Individual, Daniel Hemphill. Congratulations to the Wapello FFA Soils Team, they will continue practicing for the National Soils Contest to be held in Oklahoma in May. #WeAreWapello #WapelloTribePride
The Wapello High School and Wapello Junior High School Cross Country Teams will compete in the SEI Super Conference Meet today at 4:30 p.m. at the Waterworks Park in Fairfield. Best of luck to all of our runners and Coach Peck on tonight's race!

The award winning Wapello FFA Chapter has done it again! They have captured another State Soils Championship over the weekend! With the win, the team has qualified for the National Soils Contest in May in Oklahoma. Team Members include Chritopher Ewart, Lydia Fisher, Daniel Hemphill, and Emma Schoonover. The team captured the overall team title, and Top Pit Evaluation Team. The individual team scores are Emma Schoonover, 6th Place, Christopher Ewart, Lydia Fisher, 9th Place,and Daniel Hemphill, 11th place.
