Lifting is also closed for that week. We will resume workouts on August 5.
Before the school year begins , the WHS School Counselor will be available to meet with students and families to discuss their class schedule, graduation status, and academic planning. Meetings will be in the WHS Counseling Office.

A message from Retired WHS Principal, Steve Bohlen.
I am overwhelmed by the love and support shown to me at my retirement reception. Thank you all for making it such a special day. I will cherish these memories forever.

Reminder Summer meal pick up is today.
Pick-up times will be from 11 am to 1 pm.
Pick-up will be at the elementary school gym. Those picking up will come through the back gate by the staff parking. Please note that we have extended the time for pickups. If you are unable to pick up your meals on Tuesdays, please call 319-523-5571.

The hardest thing to track down each year is a current sports physical. We will be offering an opportunity at the school for your yearly sports physical.
August 5th from 12-3 PM, you can get your yearly sports physical done at the school.
$20 per athlete.
Please email Brandon.brown@wapellocsd.org if you plan on taking advantage of this opportunity. We are not setting appointments at this time, walk-ins are available. We just want to see the total number of those interested.
Baseline Concussion testing for athletes will be held on August 5 from 10AM - Noon in the main gym. This is for all 9-12 athletes. This testing is required, if you can not make the August 5 date, you may schedule a makeup with Mr. Brown (after August 5).
