Wapello Community Schools

On October 1, the Wapello School Board will meet in the auditorium for a listening session regarding the possible adoption of a 4-day school week starting with the 25-26 school year. The listening session will begin at 7:00pm. The format for the listening session will be as follows: 1. Anyone wishing to address the board will need to sign in before the meeting begins. 2. Individuals addressing the board will be limited to 3 minutes. 3. Individuals may address the board a maximum of 2 times, if time allows. This is meant to be an opportunity for the public to express thoughts/concerns to the board. Since this is a listening session, the board will not respond or engage in any discussions. 🪩 The Homecoming Dance is TONIGHT 🪩 There will be a raffle tonight, please make sure you enter your name when you enter the dance and winners will be called throughout the night!

We showed our TRIBE Pride in kindergarten for Blue and Gold Day! Go, Big Blue!💙💛 Also, this week, we learned about sorting objects into categories in math and explained our thinking in our groups, finished our color words, and learned all about the lines that help us form letters. Even though it was another HOT week, we still had fun at recess! Bring on Fall!🍂 #wearewapello

Game Ball Delivery Update!! The latest information we have for tonight's Game Ball Delivery by MedForce is that their projected time to be on the field is 6:45 p.m. Don't be late tonight, or you may miss the action of MedForce landing at mid-field of the Carl "Mac" McGill Athletic Complex to deliver tonight's game ball. It will be a beautiful night for football; come cheer on the Indians tonight!
